At the heart of polymer pelletizing, the die plate is a key component that requires a high level of performance and reliability. With our custom die plates, each part is designed as a unique tool to meet the specific requirements of each polymer production. Developed in close collaboration with our customers and thanks to highly advanced technologies, these die plates can meet throughputs of up to 125t/h or adapt to very specific applications. Combined with a custom knife holder and knives of the range, these die plate offer an incomparable longevity and guarantee a production of high-quality pellets over time.

Tungsten Carbide Cutting Face (TCT)

Thanks to the nibs’ technology and the hardness of tungsten carbide, the TCT cutting face offers a high resistance against wear as well as thermal and mechanical stresses. Evenly distributed over the cutting face, the nibs’ technology participates in maintaining the most optimal cutting quality even in the longest production runs and provide an exceptional longevity to the die plate.

One Way Heating Circuit (HOW)

The HOW heating circuit design guarantees a homogeneous circulation of the fluid below the die plate surface. In its oil configuration, it maximizes the oil flow while keeping a low differential pressure. In its steam configuration, it ensures that condensates can always flow easily outside of the die plate. Always adapted to the product hole geometry and located as close as possible to the product holes, the HOW design is the key to great heating performances

Air Pocket Insulation (API)

To maintain the heating performances of the die plate, the API vacuum gaps are located directly under the cutting face. By protecting both the heating channels and the polymer circuit, the API technology participates in providing efficient heating homogeneity from the die plate startup and throughout its lifetime.

Additional Technologies

Central Injection System (CIS)

Specifically designed to produce high MI or complex polymers, the CIS system increases the water flow locally to facilitate cutting, improve pellet quality and reduce cavitation phenomena. Easily plugged on existing installations, the additional water flow is then efficiently distributed thanks to the knife holder equipped with a cone and saber knives, facilitating pellet cooling and ejection.

Acid Resistant Die Plate (HAT)

The HAT die has been designed to meet the evolution of polymers and more specifically the use or the creation of acid in polymer production. The use of two different alloys, machined in the mass, allows this concept to bring a high resistance to acid while preserving the mechanical resistance of the die and therefore provides an exceptional longevity.
