Cela permet d’obtenir un large éventail d’applications qui intègrent les substances actives. Grâce à l’extrusion thermofusible/extrusion à l’état fondu, même le traitement de combinaisons support/substance active peu solubles ne pose plus de problème majeur dans l'industrie pharmaceutique. La fabrication en continu présente de nombreux avantages en termes de production et d'accélération des cycles de développement de nouveaux médicaments.
