Booster pumps
Polymer processes need components that convey low and high-viscosity plastic melts gently. Thanks to special gearings with low squeeze effect, the thermorex® or extrex® transfer, booster or metering gear pump from Maag is the ideal solution for these applications. The high level of efficiency and long service life increase the overall efficiency of your production system. thermorex® and extrex® gear pumps transport media constantly and with precision even at the highest outlet pressures.
The following types of gear pump are available:
- thermorex® GP, liquid-heatable for a wide range of applications involving differential pressures of up to 250 bar
- thermorex® HV, liquid-heatable with a 25% higher pumping volume compared to the GP model
- thermorex® HP, liquid-heatable for differential pressures of up to 300 bar
- extrex® GP, electrically heatable for a wide range of applications involving differential pressures of up to 250 bar
- extrex® HV, electrically heatable with a 25% higher pumping volume compared to the GP model
- extrex® HP, electrically heatable for differential pressures of up to 400 bar
