Maag Pump Systems AG

Maag Pump Systems AG was established in 1991 as an independent company from Maag Zahnräder AG. The first gear pump was developed and built as far back as 1928. Over the years, markets have changed, and the small lubricant pumps that were originally built have evolved into large gear pumps, which are mostly used in the plastics industry.

In 2004, the company's headquarters were moved from Zürich to Oberglatt, while the production facilities were optimised and consolidated. At the same time, the excellent connections to the public transport network proved to be one of the key points in the new site's favour, since we are now just 20 minutes from Zürich-Kloten Airport. 

Today, the facility is a centre of excellence for the production and assembly of all kinds of gear pumps for the polymer, extrusion and chemical industry. At the Oberglatt site, we have a production area of 4,000 square metres and premises spanning a total of 5,500 square metres. With an ERP system (Sales & Production) which we use worldwide, we are linked in real time to our sister companies within Maag Pump Systems AG, enabling us to respond rapidly and actively to customer demands. The site is certified to ISO 9001/14000.
